 The spiral stairs of the The Byzantine Hall leads to a sumptuous interior, specific to all ancient byzantine palaces. The byzantine style is balanced with romanian architectural elements: short columns, decorated with golden woden curls sustain roman arches. It's here where the "milongueros" found the spirit of BTEF2010 festival!

BTEF2010

According to romanian participants BTEF2010 was the biggest Tango Event created in Romania! We also received good feedback from the people from abroad and from the Maestros for the high-level management and the BTEF quality.
BTEF2010 created the oportunity of:
*4 great milongas in special locations (Palace of National Military Circle, Capsa Restaurant, Jewish Center)
*24 tango classes (3 couples with 8 classes each, National Dance Center Bucharest)
*wonderful closing concert with live music (7artists: Sexteto Milonguero from BsAs)
*outstanding performances of Maestros: Adrian VEREDICE & Alejandra HOBERT, Francisco FORQUERA & Carolina BONAVENTURA, Rodrigo Joe CORBATA & Lucila CIONCI

BTEF2009

Interested in providing a high quality teaching, performing and event-organizing in Romania, the organizers - Lucian and Monica and their friend Gabriela- decided to organize the Bucharest Tango Encuentro Festival 2009, 1rst edition,  in April 2009.

* 1 Piazzola concert with the great romanian classical orchestra: TRAFFIC STRINGS
